House Painters Calgary provides interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing and drywall repair for homeowners, landlords and businesses throughout Calgary, Alberta. We work across all four quadrants — NW, NE, SW and SE.

How we work

Most of what separates painting companies happens before any colour goes on a wall, and it is invisible once the job is done. That makes it easy to skip and hard for a customer to check. Our approach is to make it visible instead.

Every estimate we give is written and itemised — broken down by area and by task, with repair work priced as its own line rather than buried inside a painting figure. You should be able to see what the walls cost, what the trim costs, and what any drywall work costs, and adjust the scope yourself rather than accepting or rejecting one number.

Preparation is quoted as part of the job, not treated as an optional extra. Filling, sanding, caulking, spot-priming and proper surface protection are what decide whether a finish still looks right in three years, and they are the first things to disappear from a cheap quote.

We also try to be useful about scope. If refinishing your cabinets is not the right spend because the boxes have failed, or if your exterior genuinely needs to wait for spring, we would rather say so at the estimate than take the work.

What we will not tell you

A lot of contractor websites lead with numbers that cannot be checked — years in business, project counts, star ratings, awards. We have deliberately left those out rather than invent them. Where this site shows a placeholder, it means the information has not been verified yet, not that it is being hidden.

The same applies to reviews and project photos. We publish those only when they are genuine and we have permission to use them.

You deal directly with the people doing the work. There is no call centre between you and the crew on site.
